Who we are
ads.expert is a brand of MARKX Limited, based in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. MARKX Limited is the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected] for any question about your data.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information: what you give us deliberately, and what is recorded automatically when you browse.
Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site we collect your first name, last name, business email address, the service you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field. If you book a call we also receive the details you enter into our scheduling tool.
Information collected automatically. Pages you visit, how you arrived, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you interact with pages, including clicks, scrolling and mouse movement.
Session recording and heatmaps
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how this site is actually used. Clarity records how visitors move through pages, including mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, and aggregates that into playback and heatmaps. We use it to find what is confusing or broken, not to identify individuals.
What you type is masked. Clarity is configured with Balanced masking, which obscures the content of form fields, including your name and email address, before a recording is stored. We can see which page you were on and how you moved through it, not what you typed. We do not use Clarity to read submitted form content.
Microsoft may combine this information with data it holds for its own purposes. You can read how Microsoft handles it in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets cookies and uses similar browser storage for the purposes below. Analytics and session recording are only used to improve the site; we do not sell your data and we do not run advertising retargeting from this website.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Why we are allowed to use it
Where UK or EU data protection law applies to you, we rely on these legal bases:
- Legitimate interests for understanding how the site is used and keeping it secure and working.
- Consent for non-essential cookies, analytics and session recording, where consent is required in your jurisdiction. You can withdraw it at any time by clearing cookies or contacting us.
- Performance of a contract, or steps towards one when you contact us about working together and we reply, scope the work or send a proposal.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to scope and deliver work.
- To understand which pages, channels and content are useful, and to fix what is not.
- To keep the site secure and available.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run this site and our operations: Cloudflare for hosting and delivery, Google for analytics and tag management, Microsoft for Clarity, HubSpot for forms and CRM, and Calendly for scheduling. Each processes data under its own terms, and some are located outside the UAE, the UK and the EU, which means your information may be transferred internationally.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and client records are kept for as long as we have a relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Clarity recordings are retained according to Microsoft's own retention period, which is currently up to 30 days for recordings. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to ask us to transfer it to someone else. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time your local law requires. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear here rather than applied quietly.
